The best photos are those that reveal the specialness in the ordinary; those that suggest a deeper meaning, a significance, or beauty that isn’t seen at first glance. It's such a joy to discover those hidden gems and share them with others.
My first camera was a Kodak Brownie, shooting 120 film. I got that camera for my birthday when I was about 7 years old. At that time I took photos that documented family life in Los Angeles and trips throughout California.
In the decades that followed I've photographed my way across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It wasn't until I visited Nepal in 2014 and made the transition from film to digital, that I was inspired to share my observations and experiences with people other than family and friends.
Pleases enjoy the images I have posted.
